Job Description:

We are seeking a Reservoir Engineer with 3-5 working experience to contribute to the area of Dynamic Reservoir Characteristics in a diverse range of geographies and development types, including a variety of offshore, deepwater, onshore, oil, gas and condensate scenarios of differing scale. The individual should be proficient at:

Based at Beijing:

-
Using well test analysis to understand and perform reservoir analysis

-
Applying basic log interpretation/core analysis

-

Well performance analysis to assess workovers and predict future performance of existing wells

-
Evaluating reservoir performance by reservoir simulation software: such as Eclipse/VIP/CMG

-

Determining initial oil or gas in place and reserves

-
Determining initial reservoir conditions and fluid contacts

-

PVT analysis and fluid flow characteristics of oil reservoirs and determine reservoir performance

-

Identifying critical reservoir characterization parameters that impact reservoir performance, and optimizing the development plan

-

Analyzing reservoir enhance recovery factors under secondary/tertiary recovery mechanisms

-

Uncertainty analysis for both development projects/wells and exploration & appraisal drilling

-

Understanding and apply decision & risk analysis to estimate recovery factor and reservoir performance prediction
